Lora L. Feng - CEO/Founder
Ms. Feng is a seasoned international business executive and banker with extensive experience in both the U.S. and China. Her expertise spans management consulting, marketing, banking and business development.
As a CEO of LFI Solutions, Ms. Feng has advised companies on their China strategies, developed innovative new products, managed sourcing and manufacturing projects, introduced commercial partners and critical government contacts, successfully negotiated and closed deals for clients. Her clients span Fortune 500 companies to venture funded start-ups, across consumer products, healthcare, clean technologies, building materials, financial services, real estate, natural resources, and global logistics.
Prior to founding LFI Solutions in 2005, Ms. Feng managed and marketed large portfolios of consumer, technology and financial products for Fortune 500 companies including Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase, AT&T and Colgate-Palmolive with portfolio values up to $20 Billion. Among her accomplishments, Ms. Feng has created and launched new brands and business practices that were followed by rivals, pioneered innovative strategies that resulted in unprecedented growth of the business, turned around declining portfolios to star performers, and developed company-wide strategies that positioned the companies for long-term growth.
Ms. Feng holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, a Master of Science in Advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Master of Arts in Education from the Institute of Education in Singapore. She is originally from P.R. China and speaks Mandarin and several Chinese dialects fluently.
Bruce Zutler - Senior Partner
Bruce Zutler is a recognized authority in the areas of new product development and global product manufacturing. He leads and supports major international consulting projects for LFI in the areas of new product development, sourcing and strategic development.
Mr. Zutler is a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of MCI Products Group, Inc., an internationally attuned company that has been providing creative, strategic and tangible finished product solutions for over 25 years. Prior to his assuming the role of CEO at MCI in 1994, Bruce held product marketing and management positions with leading consumer product companies including The Franklin Mint, Playtex and Wyeth. He has authored several international patents and trademarks and has been directly responsible for bringing hundreds of successful new products to market, worldwide.
Bruce has applied 25+ years of “hands-on” experience to build results driven teams across geographic boarders and cultural boundaries. Under his leadership, MCI has created, manufactured or licensed a vast array of products in a variety of materials, technologies and processes that can be found in virtually every major retailer in the US. MCI’s clients represent start-up ventures as well as national companies in the housewares, lighting, hardware, stationary, technology and medical products industries, including such name brands as General Electric, Bed Bath & Beyond, Avon, 1-800-FLOWERS, Proctor & Gamble, Waterford/Wedgwood and Polo/Ralph Lauren.
Mr. Zutler has served as Co-Chairman of the International Trade Committee of the Hauppauge Industrial Association and was a Board Director for Aris Technologies, Inc. Mr. Zutler also serves as an Advisory Board member to many companies including KO Fire Curtain and is a Board Member of the Inventors’ Association of Manhattan.
Bruce has been a guest on radio talk shows, been quoted in regional and national media such as Business Week and The New York Enterprise Report and has moderated panels or spoken at various industry events.
Jiuguang Song - Partner
Mr. Song is a veteran China business consultant with over 20 years of experience advising blue chip companies including GE, IBM, and Sprint. He has expertise in medical device, pharmaceuticals, telecom, IT and has assisted Chinese clients to grow and go public in the U.S. He provides major support for consulting engagements for LFI in China.
Mr. Song was previously a Senior Vice President of Alaris China, a subsidiary of Allied Capital, a D.C. based investment firm. Under his leadership, the Shanghai based company completed more than ten major manufacturing migration and M&A projects in China and grew to be a multimillion dollar revenue company within twelve month.
Prior to Alaris China, Mr. Song headed up the China operations for a few Fortune 500 companies including IBM and Sprint International. He initiated many market entry transactions and grew the startup China operations to major forces. Prior to that, he held senior positions with expanding responsibilities at Brooks Telecommunications International and Palyn Gould Group.
Mr. Song started his career in the U.S. as a senior research fellow with Stanford University’s Center for International Security and Cooperation, and published many influential papers related to China-U.S. relations. Prior to coming to the U.S., Mr. Song held senior positions at the Office of Administration of the State Council of China’s central government. His broad and strong ties to the top decision makers of China have proven invaluable to LFI Solutions and its clients.
Mr. Song holds a master’s degree in Law from CASS and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Changchun Institute of Optical and Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Song attended the Advanced Management program of the Stanford Business School.
Roy Strauss – Managing Director, Supply Chain Management
Roy Strauss is a Supply Chain expert with over 30 years of experience, and proven track record in helping clients achieve their profitability goals by improving their customer service while reducing their operating costs.. He leads major supply chain strategy and management projects for LFI.
Mr. Strauss’s experience includes projects for domestic and international companies in a wide range of industries, including some of the best known global names such as Fuji USA, Verizon, Sony Distribution, Merck Medco, Becton Dickinson, Neuman Distributors, Velcro USA, Jack Daniels Premium Warehouse.
Mr. Strauss has delivered exceptional value to his clients through his proprietary systems for planning, managing and executing in manufacturing and distribution processes, inventory management, warehouse planning and management, and software application. Through his work, he has helped clients achieve more sales and profits through reduced operational costs, and improved efficiency and customer service. Mr. Strauss’s Supply Chain expertise will be of major value to companies who manufacture and sell their products in both Asia and the United States.
As a seasoned professional, Mr. Strauss has been a speaker at national and local trade groups; interviewed and published in trade periodicals; and writes a monthly article for SME Asia. His program on matching buildings to business requirements has been presented at local offices and national conferences for major industrial real estate sales companies.
Mr. Strauss has a Master of Business Administration in Executive Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Arts in management from the City College of New York.
Stanley Xu - Managing Director, Product Sourcing
Based in Shanghai, China, Mr. Xu is responsible for OEM projects and business development for LFI Solutions in China. With a U.S. education and extensive business management experience in both the U.S. and China, Mr. Xu brings valuable Western business discipline, cultural savvy and strong background in sourcing, OEM management, and business consulting to LFI Solutions.
Mr. Xu has co-founded and managed a few multinational sourcing and outsourcing firms in China, including Sourcing Solutions Group from Italy, where he was a general manager, and China Sage Consultants, a Sino-US consulting firm where he built the company from the ground up to 12 people, engaged clients like Build a Bear Workshop, and Aussie Pet Mobile, and negotiated Joint Venture and M&A deals for the clients.
Prior to that, he was responsible for procurement, global marketing and sales for companies in the U.S. including OptoIC Technology, Inc, New Dimension Research, Inc , and American Network Technologies, Inc. In these roles, he sourced rare products, launched global marketing and sales programs, negotiated multi-million dollars deals, and sold millions of dollars of products for the companies. Through these experiences, he has built extensive relationships throughout many industries in China, including banking, retailing, manufacturing, and distribution services, as well as with government policy makers. These relationships and knowledge of the China market is invaluable to LFI’s projects in China.
Mr. Xu holds a MBA in Corporate Finance from McCallum Graduate School of Business, Bentley College, U.S., Certificate in Accounting from University of Massachusetts, and a B.A. in English from Beijing Foreign Studies University in Beijing, China.
James G. Golden - Managing Director, Operations Management
Mr. Golden brings to LFI Solutions 20 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Competitive Analysis. He supports LFI Solutions' business consulting engagements and daily operations.
Mr. Golden has held many management positions at AT&T Consumer and Small Business Communications Services. During his long tenure at AT&T, he marketed AT&T’s WorldNet Internet Service, managed AT&T’s 800-CALLATT product platform, developed corporate communications for AT&T’s senior management, and was a founding member of AT&T’s Competitive Analysis organization. Among his accomplishments, Mr. Golden launched new products for AT&Ts 800-CALLATTT platform, resulting in $11 million incremental annual revenue, and conceived and implemented new marketing programs for AT&T WorldNet Service, reducing attrition and saving millions of dollars. He also represented AT&T in negotiating international long distance pricing with government agencies around the world, obtaining favorable pricing and contributing to significant reduction of operating expenses and improvement of profitability.
Mr. Golden holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Journalism from Rowan University and is a member of the New Jersey Amateur Astronomers organization.
Yanping (Helen) Ming - Advisor
Ms. Ming brings corporate finance and investment expertise to LFI and advises the firm and its clients on corporate and investment strategies.
Ms. Ming founded Aureuseed Wealth Management LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor, after over four years of experience as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch.
Through Aureuseed, Ms. Ming assists individual and business investors in the development of long-term strategies that strive to ensure their financial success and security. Helen assists clients in wealth accumulation, preservation and transfer through the creation of individually customized wealth management strategies. These strategies encompass portfolio development, retirement and education planning, liability management, tax management, and asset protection.
Helen is a graduate of Princeton University where she earned an MPA from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. She also has an MA and BA in Economics from Wuhan University in China, as well as a graduate-level Certificate in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University.
Helen is a registered investment adviser representative. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. In addition, she has the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification and is a CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR (CRPC®).
